Know more. Care better. Act at the right time.

Mowgly was an abandoned kitten, rescued and brought into a home already ruled by three Shih Tzus. He was tiny, outnumbered and vulnerable. That didn't last long. Before long, he wasn't just surviving in the house. He was running it.

Loving a pet and knowing how to care for one are not the same thing. Mowgly Ventures exists to close that gap: know more, care better, act at the right time.

Becoming a pet parent brought constant questions. What should they eat? Which food is actually good? Why is the dog itching? Why is the cat vomiting? Is this serious enough to see a vet?

Caring properly for a pet felt far more confusing than it should. That is the problem we want to help with.

Most pet shops say: here are 10,000 products, choose one. But the pet parent at home is asking something else: what should I actually do?

That is the gap Mowgly Ventures wants to close, so we start with the problem, not the product aisle.

We don’t want people frightened about their pets, and we don’t want them ignoring a real medical problem.

So our job is not to diagnose. It is better-informed pet parenting, including knowing when home care is reasonable and when to go straight to a vet.

Indian pet shops lean towards dogs. Cat parents deal with picky eating, hydration, litter and odour, hairballs and grooming, and rarely get enough guidance.

Mowgly was a rescued kitten, so cats are never an afterthought here.
